Culture in the plate ... But not only! The trips, the discovery of a culture begin in ... the plate. Too bad to stay there! This year, the House of Laïcité d'Angleur, Chênée and Grivegnée has offered you a gourmet cruise. Gourmet of tastes, meetings, discoveries. One Saturday a month, we stopped in a new country, a new region. Meals, music, exchanges ...
For this new stop, we will put our suitcases in Iraq.
In the program :
Presentation of the Iraqi Association OeAeC, video projection on Iraq "Mesopotamian cradle of humanity", painting exhibition, craft booth, Arabic calligraphy demonstration and evening will be hosted by a group to Iraqi traditional songs. And all in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
On the menu :
• Starter: lentil soup with kefta
• Dish: beef beryani (rice with vermicelli, dried fruit and accompanied with an Iraqi salad)
• Dessert: oriental assortment with black tea
The menu is priced at 18 € per person.
